The
Gospel
The Gospel as we call it, is
the Good News. First
the bad news. Somewhere down in the heart of every man, woman and child
is a sense of right and wrong, or righteousness and evil. We also recognize that
we are not perfect. We know, in our honest moments, that we have blown it more
than once. What we do not realize is that if we break one Law of God once then
we are guilty of sin. If we were prefect before that one time, we are no longer
perfect afterwards. We have become a sinner. Yahweh says that the soul that
sins will surely die. He also states that it is appointed once for a man to die
then the judgment. If every man has an appointment with death then every man
has sinned. If any human was prefect then they would not die. The bad news is
that we ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God and we will die as a
result.
There is a second death as well. This is the
consequence of our sin. The second death is eternally separated from Yahweh and
in the presence of Satan in the lake of fire instead. There is no amount of
"good" that we can do to make up for our sin. It is like putting
cyanide in water. No amount of additional water will remove the cyanide. The was pure until the cyanide was added. In other words God
does not grade on the curve but, we are either perfect or a sinner. This was
the deal with Adam and Eve. They were allowed to eat anything in the Garden of
Eden except of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Had they not eaten
of that Tree they would not have died, nor would we be born into sin. This is
the first part of the bad news. The second part of the bad news is that when
Adam and Eve sinned they turned the Earth and everything on it over to Satan.
It DID belong to man but NOW it belongs to Satan and he has no intention of
sharing it or giving it back. In fact he wants to destroy ALL of it and
everything that is on it simply because Yahweh created it. Satan hates Yahweh
and everything that He created. Fortunately he can only work through men to
carry out his will; too steal, kill and destroy. He cannot personally destroy
anything. HE HAS TO DECEIVE MEN INTO DOING HIS WILL.
Man was left with no solution to the bad news. That
is, until a perfect man could be found who was willing to exchange his life for
the death of one who sins. This human would have to be
willing to suffer both deaths in exchange for living forever. This is the
epitome of Love. Greater Love has no man that to lay down his life for a
friend. If such a perfect man could be found he could exchange his life for one
other man. The problem is that he could not be born of the human race because
of being born in sin. Only a human can exchange his life for another human. So
it seems that Satan had won. No human can ever be born perfect and even if it
were possible not enough could be born for every man that was born into sin.
You would have to come up with a lot of humans who were willing to endure
eternity in the lake of fire when they did not deserve it.
However, Father, our Creator, had a plan from the
beginning, since He knew the future. He
took a fallen virgin human woman and conceived a Son through her by His Spirit.
This person was all human and all God. Since this man had Divine Life in Him,
He was born perfect without sin. Now He just had to life His life on Earth and be tempted to sin in every way possible and never yield to
sin by always obeying His Father then He would be perfect. You can bet that
Satan tried every trick in the book to tempt Him, BUT SATAN FAILED and YESHUA DID
NOT SIN. Now He had to be willing to take upon Himself every sin of every man,
woman and child for all of time and suffer all of the consequences for all of
the sins. So, out of Love for His creation, the innocent Lamb of God submitted
to Father's will and was crucified on a tree and spent 3 days in hell with
Satan and his demons receiving all of the punishment for all of man kinds sins including Adam and Eve's. Yeshua trusted that
Father would fulfill His promise to Him and raise Him from the dead when the punishment
was fulfilled. Of course Father was true to His word and raised Yeshua from the
dead. Yeshua returned to Earth leading those who had sacrificed the lives of
innocent animals for their own sins as a temporary fix. All that was left to do
was to tell mankind that the provision has been made to turn the bad news into
the Good News. The Perfect sacrifice had been found and had given His life for
us. All that we need to do is believe that Father arranged this and accept
Yeshua's sacrifice by giving our lives to Him who gave His life for us and we
will be Born Again. Our old life, that was under the power of
sin and Satan, will be brought to death symbolized by baptism and we
will receive a New Life by having our lives lost in His Life. Our inheritance in now an eternity with our Savior and our Father
in the New Jerusalem. All of our sins have been washed away, we have become a new creation. We are now the
righteousness of God in Yeshua. He is now our Savior, our Deliverer, our
Healer, our Provider, and our Master. Satan was our master before and drove us,
Yeshua is now our Master who leads us by His Love and exposes the lies of our
enemy by revealing to us the Truth.
He provides us with all that we need to become just
like Him, a son. He provides the Holy Spirit and His power by baptism in the
Holy Spirit. He provides us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit so that we to can
overpower our enemy, and the fruits of the Spirit to transform us into His
image. He leads us to proclaim the
This is the GOOD NEWS. The price has been paid. The
offer is free. All we need do is to accept and follow our Creator Home.
