Jezebel-Ahab Spirits
Background:
A while back the Lord challenged me concerning His view of marriage, faithfulness and divorce. Over a period of a couple of years I had four believing couples approach me concerning their marriages and the fact that they were considering divorce. Then a fifth couple was added. Two years later one of the marriages had ended in divorce and one was very close to divorce. Unless you've been living in a cave in the wilderness for the past 20 years you know that marriage is under attack on a broad scale, by feminist, irresponsible fathers, and homosexuals to name a few, and make no mistake about it, divorce lawyers have no interest in restoring your marriage. Much of the marriage/ divorce trouble is the result of the feminization of men and the maculation of women.
Principalities
and Powers:
It
is written; that we contend with the principalities and powers in high places.
These are fallen angels that have set up the hierarchical angelic structure to
rule the earth with Lucifer at the top. This can be seen on the back of the one
dollar bill. The all seeing eye on top of the pyramid
symbolizes Lucifer. Lucifer had taken dominion of the earth when Lucifer was
removed from Heaven. Yahweh created Adam and commanded him to take dominion
over the earth and be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. Basically,
Yahweh told Adam to take the earth back from Lucifer. When Yahweh created Eve
He also created marriage. Genesis

has been around and influencing men and women since the Fall.
She has great influence in the
Jezebel,
the queen of
The Jezebel and Ahab were actually the personification of the two fallen angels; which we now call the Jezebel and Ahab spirit who serve under Lucifer in the hierarchy.
The Workings of the Ahab spirit:
The main purpose of the Ahab spirit is to entice men to compromise the will of Yahweh. This is accomplished by either seduction, manipulation, threats of violence, or harassment. Once a man has determined the will of Father and embarks upon it, his wife and children are to follow. He should, of course follow all of the Lord's instructions which will provide for his wife and family. The Ahab spirit is a submissive spirit. Submissive to women, to false gods and rebellious toward God. The Ahab spirit will not confront but will act like a whipped dog, and cower in front of Jezebel. This is the feminization of men. Its primary purpose is to bring fear into the heart of man. The Ahab spirit fears Jezebel and will submit to her out of fear. It will sulk off instead of saying {this is the way let's walk in it}. The Ahab spirit will focus on keeping Jezebel happy, so as to not have to endure the wrath of Jezebel, thus to please her instead of pleasing the Lord. Of course Jezebel will play the sex card and Ahab will not want to be sexually abandoned. Man was made to contend, Adam was commanded to take dominion over the earth. The husband is to contend with Jezebel and overcome this spirit, thus saving his wife. This requires him to hear from Yahweh and to walk in His power and love.
The Ahab spirit will tempt the man to give in for the sake of peace in the family. It will also promote the husband's getting in touch with his feminine side, resulting in effeminate men. The men then are emasculated and loose their headship position in the family. This is usually the case when men have any other head other then Yeshua. The children are then lead by the mother and the father is AWOL. The sons, especially, are left with only a Jezebel model and are raised as servants to women not knowing how real men behave. The Ahab spirit entices men to be manipulators and deceivers, instead of confronters. They try to beat Jezebel at its own game.
The Workings of the Moloch and Ahab spirits
in the church:
Jezebel works in the Church to destroy marriages and kill any prophets that exist. The prophets are the primary threat to its work since they are able to see its activity clearly. Jezebel will also claim any new wine for her king, ie. Naboth's vineyard, while seeking to destroy the ones that are being used by the Holy Spirit to bring the new wine to the Church. Naboth represents the Holy Spirit as it prepares to bring new wine to believers. The kings of the church are those that illegally take command of Yeshua's people, the pastors; the false elders.
Men, since they are designed to be heads of their wives and families are emasculated when then come under the fallen angelic system in the churches. They must give up their sovereign rule in their family to another head other than Yeshua. The result is that they become another man’s servant rather than the servant of Yeshua. Their wives and children now have another head, a false head that is in potential conflict with them. Husbands, by God's design, are to teach their wives and children about the Lord and His kingdom. Women are to receive their instruction from Yahweh, their husbands or fathers. When Eve sought another source of knowledge, she caused the fall of all creation. She saw that the fruit (offered to her by Lucifer) was {good for knowledge, pleasing to the eye and good to eat...} This provided her with an alternative source of knowledge, but not the knowledge of righteousness but of evil. The husband's responsibility and his authority are usurped by this new head. The result is the wife and children in the church now must choose between their God ordained and anointed head and another 'priestly' head, the pastor.
Wives solve this dilemma by becoming part of two kingdoms, one at home and one at 'church'. This sets up a conflict of kingdoms where none should exist. The family can now choose which head they will follow based on which one 'appears; to be the most Godly, or the one that appeals most to their desires. A divided house will not stand. This angelic structure sows the seeds of divorce. The wife then gives her physical and emotional being to her husband but her spiritual being to her pastor. This is spiritual adultery. This leads to confusion and plants the seeds of the family's destruction.
If she does give her spiritual well being to her pastor, then soon her emotional well being follows and in time her physical can as well, ultimately resulting in physical adultery. Our soul and body always follow our spirit, one way or the other. The husband is left with a choice that is to be a follower of another man and relinquish his sovereignty (authority and responsibility) or rebel and leave the 'church' and his wife and family with the 'church'. He of course is then labeled rebellious and independent. Thus, this structure promotes division in the family, not union.
Men are looking for authority by God's design. It can only be found in Yeshua. The angelic structure offers authority by position. It's taught if you submit to authority then you can have authority, of course only within the structure. This is very appealing to a single man seeking authority in this system. He desires to cover, protect, and provide for a wife and family and to build a kingdom. He can do both by submitting to this structure. The problem is, the wife and family are not his own and the kingdom is not the Lord's ordained kingdom. As a single man the Lord did not anoint him as the head of any woman or family by virtue of a marriage covenant. He is at best a brother of the women and families he leads, not their God anointed head. If the young man matures enough to hear from the Lord himself, he is only free to carry out the Lord's directions if they do not conflict with that of the leader or leadership. The young man has received a benefit from the structure and will yield to its system to gain that benefit. If the benefit disappears then often so does his submission. In other words if that 'church' has nothing to offer him, he will move on. If he out grows the leadership and begins to question authority he will be told to submit for his own safety from deception. If he persists then he is said to be deceived and is asked to leave. The foundation of this structure is the leader’s doctrine (his own interpretation of scripture). If that interpretation is challenged then the leader is challenged. If the leader’s interpretation differs from the majority of attendees then the 'church' in ripe for division.
Single women have a dilemma with this system as well. The structure has little room for them and their input, so they are set aside. The pastor's wife is well aware of the single women's attraction to the pastor, as head, and will not let them get too close, so they have no one to turn to with their concerns and troubles. Their fathers are usually not part of the 'church' and therefore can not help. They have only one head, the 'pastor', who cannot function as their head even though he promotes himself as their covering. So the single women, unmarried, or widowed or divorced are headless bodies in search of a head, a very lonely and frustrating place to be.
The Workings of the Jezebel Spirit:
The nature of the Jezebel spirit is derived from the fallen angel, Ishtar. Although angels and demons are neither male nor female they will take a male or female role to deceive mankind. The jezebel spirit or demon impersonates a woman. Its primary purpose is to destroy marriage by inverting the order that Yahweh established with man as the head of the relationship. The man under such a spirit is usually influenced by the Ahab spirit, which is a weak, submissive, compromising spirit yielded to the Jezebel spirit. These two destroy marriage by enticing men and women to abandon their God created roles and positions of authority. The purpose of the Jezebel spirit is to make all men subservient to it by compromising the man's relationship with Yahweh/ Yeshua. This is accomplished by using all the tools at its disposal; from rebellion, to seduction. The spirit usually uses seduction to entice men to move from under Yeshua's authority to come under its authority.
This is what happened in the Garden of Eden. Lucifer enticed Eve through pride to eat of the fruit on the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Up until then her only source of knowledge was from either Adam, her husband, or Yahweh, her Creator, when Adam and Eve walked with Him. Lucifer provided her with an alternative source of knowledge, the forbidden fruit. He re-interpreted the Word that Yahweh spoke to Adam while he was in Yahweh’s presence, thus causing doubt in Eve's mind. It's interesting to note that Eve had not heard directly from Yahweh concerning the forbidden fruit, she heard it second hand from her husband. Lucifer challenged Adam's interpretation and Eve's understanding of God's Words. She did not consult with either Yahweh or her husband before she ate to clarify the discrepancy, if she had we might all not be in this sinful condition. Ishtar then stepped in to deceive Adam. Eve offered him an alternative source of knowledge as well and told him that she had eaten. Adam then had to decide whether to follow his wife or Yahweh. Adam did not consult with Yahweh about the situation. He surely understood that Yahweh could make another woman for him; he still had plenty of ribs. However, he chose to FOLLOW his wife, instead of turning to Yahweh for direction. Adam compromised what Yahweh had clearly told him resulting in his death. This reversed God's family order on the Earth forever. Lucifer began to lead Eve through Ishtar and Ishtar began to lead Adam through Eve, and all of their descendants became slaves to Ishtar and Lucifer. Lucifer became the head of mankind, thus we are born under sin.
Until Adam and Eve sinned they were not aware of themselves, they walked in perfect Love, aware of only one another, but once they gained knowledge, they discovered themselves and became self conscience. They realized their nakedness and were given clothes to cover up. Yahweh designed Eve to follow her husband and Adam to FOLLOW Yahweh. Eve was to submit to Adam but instead submitted to Lucifer, and Adam was to submit to Yahweh but instead submitted to Ishtar through Eve. Hence both of them died and brought sin to the entire Earth system, imposing upon all the creation on Earth, Lucifer's hierarchical (pyramid) structure with Lucifer as its head. Thus all of earth's creation groans in agony locked into the evil hierarchy awaiting the revelation of the Sons of God, who are to break the structure by having Yeshua as their only Head, and then to set creation free to worship and serve their Creator.
Lucifer appealed to Eve's desires to entice her. She saw that the fruit was pleasing to the eye, good to eat and brought independent knowledge. This is the same appeal that has been used to seduce women by Jezebel ever since the fall. The entire fashion, cosmetic, jewelry and food industry is based on this appeal, as well as the interior decorating and higher education industries. The Jezebel spirit first appeals to the woman it wants to operate through by offering these things to her. It looks for a woman who is dissatisfied with her husband if she is married, or her father if not. The appeal is to her greater wisdom, knowledge or ability than that of her husband, thus enabling her to know better than her husband or father. This is simply an appeal to her pride. This appeal can be quite direct or very subtle. The demon will point out all of the man's weaknesses to the woman, emphasizing every time the man does not fulfill her desires, which it calls needs. Of course this promotes the idea that he should be fulfilling her every desire. However, it is written the {if you delight yourself in the Lord HE will give you the desires of heart} and HE will provide all of your needs from His treasures in heaven. It is the Lord who will give you the desires of your heart and provides for your needs. He may use your husband or someone else. If you are not receiving your desires then either your desires are sinful or you are not delighting yourself in Him. Either way it is not your mates fault. Of course this works both ways. A Moloch spirit will play the same game with men.
The Jezebel spirit will convince the woman that her husband is not doing his best to provide for her, or his duty for her, or not loving her. This then opens the door for her to take matters into her own hands. Usually it is about money and stuff, that which makes her feel secure. Of course the Lord is our security, not money and stuff and He is our provider, not our husband nor wife. She will be tempted to place more demands upon her husband so that he can prove his love for her. If he complies then she places even more demands. If he fails to comply then she says that he does not love her, resulting in her justifying not meeting his demands. Then the contest is on. Which one of them will come out on top? She will be tempted to use her beauty and sexuality to entice him to give in to her will. She will yell at him, she will sweet talk him, she will fix his favorite meals and make deals with him. She will go the point of pleasing him so that she can get him to do her will. If she has money she may use it to buy him off. Some will even use threats and physical harm to accomplish it.
Often
the children are used as tools against his leadership. She threatens to take
the children away; meanwhile she is busy trying to persuade the children to
choose her way over their father's. The ultimate weapon brought to bear after
the sexual card is played is to threaten to divorce him and keep the children.
God hates the sin of divorce. So you have the woman using the very thing that
God hates as a threat to get her own way. The Jezebel demon uses all this to
entice the couple to break their marriage covenant in divorce and then entice
them to either remarry or engage in sex outside of marriage, thus in both cases
engaging in adultery and hence saddling them with the death penalty. The woman
who operates under the Jezebel spirit is already has the curse of death upon
her according to Leviticus 20:27: {A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is
a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones:
their blood shall be upon them.}
The Jezebel spirit will operate at whatever level it can, from meddling, to nagging, to manipulating, to gossiping, to outright rebelling (witchcraft) and praying against her husband or father. Jezebel will use the distorted religious doctrines against couples that are believers. The husband is not spiritually sensitive enough, or does not understand spiritual things, or not providing enough for his family, not submitted to authority, not reading the Bible enough, or not giving enough to the Church, or not loving his wife like Christ loved the Church are all tools used by Jezebel. There is always a little truth in them, and they are ALWAYS used to manipulate the husband to do the will of the Jezebel demon through his wife, instead of encouraging him to seek Father's will. Jezebel will entice the wife to use witchcraft against her husband if the other methods do not work. The religious wives will be tempted to pray that their husbands give into their desires and demands, this is a form of witchcraft, using supernatural power to accomplish your will. Some who claim to be prophetesses will try to command or prophecy their own will into existence. In this case, she becomes a false prophet, engaged in witchcraft. This opens the door for a spirit of divination. We, as believers, are not permitted to pray for our will to be done. It is written that 'His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven' and when the Lord himself prayed in His darkest hour He prayed 'nevertheless not My will but Yours be done'. The Father's will is what we are to be about. We are never permitted to pray for, command or demand that our will, or our spouses will, or the Church's will be done.
Of course this is all the work of Ishtar through the Jezebel spirit. Yahweh wants the husband and wife to set aside their individual wills and find and follow His will for them, to love each other, to lay down their lives for each other, that there be no contention in their family, so their children will grow up in a loving, Godly atmosphere.
Once the husband is brought into submission the Jezebel spirit will use him to help it bring others to fulfill its will. The Ishtar/Jezebel spirit loves to gather a following. It will surround itself with those that will listen and obey its will and ultimately it demands worship; that is a following. Anyone who opposes it will be seduced if possible, if not they will be cursed in the name of the Lord. The Jezebel spirit hates true prophets of Yahweh, since they see it for what it is and are sent to expose its works. The Jezebel spirit will attempt to destroy any prophets that stand up to it. She will try seduction, if this fails then it uses character assassination by false accusations.
The Jezebel spirit appears as a false holy spirit, leading the man through his wife, instead of the true Holy Spirit who leads the wife and family through the husband. The false holy spirit operates by the flesh, using the fleshly appetites to lead the women and men it has overpowered. The appeal to beauty, wealth, popularity, sex, safety, and knowledge are all tools used to entice women and men to follow this spirit. These are all the lusts of the flesh. The Holy Spirit operates by putting to death the lusts of the flesh and revealing the will of Father. In practice this works by the gifts of the Holy Spirit verses the lust for the things of the material world. If the Holy Spirit wants to show us what spirit is interfering with a person it uses the gift of discerning of spirits to show us. The jezebel spirit will use pains in the body, different feelings, or tarot cards etc. to 'reveal' demonic activity. Thus the focus of the Holy Spirit is upon Father's revelation while the focus of the false holy spirit is upon the flesh, material things. The purpose of the Holy Spirit is to see Father’s Kingdom brought to earth by breaking sin and Lucifer's power. The purpose of the false holy spirit is to give the things and power of earth to mankind by manipulating man with Lucifer's power giving the false impression of taking dominion over the earth when in fact Lucifer’s authority has not been brought down, {what does it profit a man to gain the whole earth but lose his own soul?}.
The Holy Spirit raises up Yahweh and Yeshua at the expense of the material/fleshly world. The Jezebel spirit raises up women over men at the expense of holiness and the working of the Holy Spirit. A servant of Yahweh is motivated to reveal the Father to man, they are not concerned about their own wealth, looks or position, Elijah’s life style is a good example. Yeshua's servant is submitted to Yahweh as a man, husband, and submitted to Him through their husband or father as a woman or unmarried child. A servant of Jezebel is interested is gathering disciples and influencing others by using their, knowledge, spirituality, beauty, sensuality or wealth. This servant is submitted to Lucifer's hierarchy, as a husband submitting to his wife's will, or to submitting to another man's or woman's will, his/her 'teacher', or 'father', or 'pastor'.
The serving of the spirit of Jezebel will result in the loss of the use of the true gifts and power of the Holy Spirit for a believer. The unholy spiritual gifts and power are exercised instead. One cannot serve two masters. Yahweh calls this spiritual adultery.
Head covering:
The
husband and father is the covering for the wife and family. This concept does
not apply to the pastor or elders, they are not the head, nor can they be, except
of their own wives. The spirit of man knows this and thus never entirely
embraces this false head. As a result you hear many sermons propping up this
authority structure and promoting its leaders' authority. The Biblical
authority structure is: {Yahweh is the head
of Yeshua, Yeshua is the head of every man, and the man is the head of his
wife} and children 1 Cor 11:3, Eph
Submission/ Servitude:
There are two words translated from the Greek, submit in the KJV Bible. The one word means to be a subject of and the other one means to defer to, or make way for. The one for being a subject of is used in the verse where a wife is to submit to her husband, where we are to submit to one another and in the verses where we are to submit to God. The other word is used in the passages referring to submission to leaders. The actual translation from the Greek for submitting to leadership is to 'defer to the old men'.
Overcoming the Jezebel and Ahab spirits:
Elijah
attempted to overcome both Ishtar and Moloch at
This story gives us some clues on how to overcome Jezebel. Elijah had just defeated Moloch by a direct confrontation. However, Jezebel seldom fights this way. It chooses to use seduction and deceit instead. Elijah did not know how to fight this way. He was an unmarried man, especially vulnerable to the wiles of a woman. He was afraid and ran. Jehu however, was an anointed king and was not afraid. He used his kingly authority to command the eunuchs, who could not be seduced by Jezebel, to throw her down. The eunuchs had been placed under Jehu's authority by his anointing. Jehu did not directly attack her either.
The only kings that Yahweh permits, other than His Son, Yeshua, is husbands as king of their own households. The eunuchs are those who have been made spiritual eunuchs by Yeshua to tend to His Bride. They are the ones who will not allow the Bride to follow themselves but only Him. So the working together of these two are effective against the Jezebel spirit.
The first step in overcoming the Jezebel and Ahab demons is repenting from spiritual adultery that is leaving the leading of the Holy Spirit for the leading of men. Yeshua warned many times in the gospels to {beware lest men deceive you}, never once lest Satan deceive you. A husband must be restored to his kingly authority to save himself and his wife from the Jezebel spirit. Only Yahweh can restore him to his position. He offended his true Head by abandoning his first Love for fleshly pursuits. He must reject the Jezebel and Ahab spirits and turn to the Holy Spirit for cleansing and empowering before he can in turn see his wife and family free. This will require the leading and revelations of the Holy Spirit. He has pursued another source of knowledge and power other than the Lord; he has compromised, become lukewarm. Yahweh is to be man's only source of knowledge, He is a jealous God. The man must not be gathering his own disciples. He must be a eunuch, having repented from making disciples and thus contaminating the Bride with bastard children. Once he has received the Holy Spirits cleansing, and re-empowering and Father's anointing, and is walking as a eunuch then he is ready to move against the Jezebel spirit to free his family, otherwise he remains a slave of Jezebel and Ahab. The overcoming of Jezebel and Ahab is not an easy task, these are strong deceiving spirit, the ruling spirits of the end times.
Head-body illustration:
Yahweh has made the man the head of his wife and family. The wife can be viewed as the body. The head of a physical body contains all five senses; touch, taste, smell, hearing and sight. The body only contains the sense of touch. The head contains the mind, reason and the body contains the most of the skin, the lungs and heart, emotion. This is a clue of how the husband and wife are to work together. A head without a body is useless and will die quickly. It has no source of oxygen for speaking or for maintaining itself. It is immobile. All the senses are there but there is no body to respond to what is detected. The body without a head is just as useless. It has no direction, or understanding. It can only fumble around in the darkness using its sense of touch to sense what is there. The sense of balance is in the head, so the body will quickly end up on crawling the floor. The air the body needs comes through the mouth which is now missing, so breathing is difficult. Eating is impossible since there are no teeth or mouth. Of course with both the head and the body, once they are separated they quickly bleed to death. This is a picture of divorce; you separate the couple and they both die. The couple each needs to be fully functional in their individual roles for there to be a healthy being. The roles cannot be interchanged and the being be healthy, God did not design the man and woman to be interchangeable.
This is by know means a complete test just an attempt to get an idea of who your serving, God or man.

Score interpretation: The higher the score the more influence Jezebel or Ahab has on you. A score of 0 indicates not influence, a score of 250 means your probably a practicing witch.
